Shopping in Dublin
There are many exclusive shops in Dublin within walking distance of Barry's Hotel that offer the most modern goods and services one may expect to find. O'Connell street, Dublin's main street is only 3 minutes walk from the hotel and from it one may access all the city centre shopping districts and main shopping
areas.
Henry Street
Henry Street is located on Dublin's northside and is one of the two principal shopping streets of Dublin and is approx a 5 minute walk from Barry’s Hotel. Henry Street has a lot of department stores like Arnotts, Dunnes Stores and Pennys. There are also many of the leading UK chain stores like Debenhams, Next, Top Shop, Marks & Spencers and Boots.
The Ilac Shopping Centre which is the oldest shopping centre in the city centre is located on Henry Street. Located at the end of Henry Street is the Jervis Shopping Centre which is at present the largest shopping centre in the city-centre. It is three floors, the first two which are all shops, and the third which is for fast food restaurants.
Grafton Street
Grafton Street is located on Dublin’s southside, and is approx a 15 minute walk from Barrys Hotel. Grafton Street is the more up market shopping street with stores like Brown Thomas, BT2 and Weirs jewellers. There are also many of the leading UK chain stores like Next, Top Shop, River Island and Marks and Spencers. Grafton Street also has many boutique stores along the many side streets.
Stephen’s Green Shopping Center is located at the end of Grafton Street. It is a large indoor shopping centre which has over 100 outlet stores.
